Pop-Up Series Launch and Partnerships

In the last few months the GreenspaceNYC team has been hard at work speaking and brainstorming with artists, teachers, and organizations around New York to create an exciting new Pop-Up Lecture Series. Well, we are ready to go! Inaugural events are scheduled for early January 2012.

GreenspaceNYC has officially partnered with Wix Lounge, a Free Work & Event space for creative professionals in New York City. The lounge will host multiple monthly Pop-Up Events where featured artists, teachers, community activists, and the GrennspaceNYC team will lead engaging public classes, talks and workshops. In Addition GreenspaceNYC will hold hands on community art workshops in Union Square, about which we’ll provide more information very soon.

We have an expanding network of singularly innovative local artists, designers, and teachers, who will lead the first Pop-Up workshops! Events will pertain to our core themes of art making, sustainability, social good, and community. Stay tuned, because artist profiles and premiere event listings will be released in the coming weeks!
